Description
For almost a decade, more people learned to fly CP (Collective Pitch) helicopters with multiple versions of the Blade 230 S than any other model. The Revolution 235 CP is an updated and upgraded version of the proven 230 equipped with new features to make it even easier to fly, plus more capable and more durable than ever before. It features exclusive and innovative SAFE (Sensor Assisted Flight Envelope) technology that offers angle limits and improved self-leveling to help prevent crashes in Normal mode, and no limits in all other flight modes plus Panic Recovery to bail out at the push of a button if you ever need it!

Best of all the Revolution 235 CP arrives 100% factory-assembled, flight-tested, and ready to fly right out of the box no assembly or setup required. The Ready-To-Fly (RTF) Basic version includes everything needed to fly in one box except for a battery and charger so it's a perfect choice for first-time to experienced pilots looking for maximum convenience and value. It allows you to choose a convenient and money-saving Spektrum Powerstage bundle or the separate battery and charger you prefer. Plus the included Spektrum DXS 2.4GHz transmitter can be used with other Bind-N-Fly (BNF) and BNF Basic aircraft after you learn to fly the Revolution 235 successfully! A Bind-N-Fly (BNF) Basic version is also available for pilots who want to use their current Spektrum transmitter along with Smart or non-Smart batteries and chargers they may already own. And both versions include a Spektrum flybarless flight controller and receiver loaded with a Smart Transmitter File that allows you to import all settings for NX and iX series transmitters during the binding process to make it easier and faster to get flying with your favorite or upgraded transmitter.
And the fun doesn't stop after you learn how to fly! In the Stunt/Idle Up flight modes the Revolution 235 CP is capable of performing basic aerobatic maneuvers including loops, rolls, inverted (upside down) flight, and more. It's even capable of 3D aerobatics whether you're an experienced pilot or are just learning to perform them. Plus you can customize and personalize more than ever before with different colors of main rotor blades, tail rotors, canopies, and even landing gear. There are also optional carbon fiber main rotor blades, aluminum blade grips, main motor and tail motor mounts, and updated light kits for flying at night.
You can purchase the RealFlight Trainer Edition RC Flight Simulator and a Spektrum WS2000 Wireless Simulator Dongle (together in the money-saving RFL-1212) to fly this and other models using the transmitter included with the RTF Basic version! The simulator features many of the most popular Horizon Hobby trainer aircraft and built-in Virtual Flight Instructor lessons. This helps new pilots learn to fly successfully by practicing on a PC at home or on a laptop just about anywhere else!

Already own a Spektrum transmitter? Bind-N-Fly (BNF) aircraft make getting into the air quickly and with the best control experience possible easier than ever. They come out of the box with the power system, servos and a Spektrum 2.4GHz receiver installed so all you need to do is bind the receiver to a compatible transmitter, finish any final assembly, and fly (transmitter, battery and charger sold separately)!
The factory-installed and expertly-tuned AR6250MHXD flybarless flight controller features exclusive Spektrum AS3X and SAFE technologies. The updated SAFE technology features angle limits and improved self-leveling to help prevent crashes in Normal mode. AS3X smooths out the effects of wind and turbulence with no limits or self-leveling in all other flight modes so you can fly inverted and perform aerobatics too. Plus, you can use Panic Recovery to bail out at the push and hold of a button if you ever need it!
The Revolution 235 is equipped with a Spektrum Smart ESC, flight controller, and a receiver that provides with Smart and non-Smart batteries real-time overall flight battery voltage, motor RPM, and other telemetry information to compatible Spektrum AirWare equipped transmitters (including the DXS, DX6e and 8e, DX6 G2/G3 and 8 G2, the DX9, NX6 to 20, the iX12 to 20, and others) while you fly.
If this is your first RC helicopter, Horizon Hobby-exclusive SAFE (Sensor Assisted Flight Envelope) technology prevents over-control and crashes while also offering multiple flight modes to deliver more control and capabilities as your skills progress:
In this flight mode, the helicopter has pitch and bank angle limits to prevent over-control that can result in a loss of orientation and crashes. When the control sticks are released, the helicopter automatically returns to level flight on its own allowing you to relax and enjoy just 'steering' the helicopter through the sky rather than focusing on keeping it level. This flight mode also makes it much easier to take off and land!
There are no pitch or bank angle limits in this flight mode so you have complete control! The head speed is higher and more constant than in the Normal mode which allows you to fly inverted (upside down) and perform basic aerobatic maneuvers including loops, rolls and more.
In this flight mode there are no limits and the head speed is even higher so you can perform more aggressive and 3D aerobatic maneuvers.
If you lose control of the helicopter in the Stunt/Idle Up flight modes, simply press and hold the Panic Recovery button or switch to Normal mode and release the right-hand control stick. SAFE technology will automatically return the helicopter to upright and level flight!
The upgraded digital, metal-geared cyclic servos along with an updated frame design featuring optimized servo and improved rotor head geometry, an aluminum swashplate and rotor head block deliver added durability, precision and capabilities.
The CP (Collective Pitch) main rotor mechanics offer smooth control to deliver a unique blend of hovering, sport, and aerobatic flying capabilities you can't get with FP (Fixed Pitch) mechanics.
The Revolution 235 arrives 100% factory-assembled, flight-tested, and ready to fly right out of the box! It's equipped with industry-leading Spektrum 2.4GHz technology that's already bound to the DXS controller/transmitter included with the RTF Basic version, and both versions bind to most 6+ channel DSMX/DSM2 equipped transmitters.
The more powerful and efficient brushless main motor plus the tail motor are connected to a factory-installed Spektrum Dual Smart ESC and are compatible with popular and affordable 3S 850mAh Smart and similar non-Smart LiPo batteries with IC2 connectors (or use a compatible IC2 adapter).
